Recently Arch Capital Group decided to relocate it's corporate headquarters to Greensboro. The Wrangler Jeans division is also headquartered in Greensboro. (maker of Salem, Kool and Winston cigarettes), Cone Mills, International Textile Group, Tanger Factory Outlets, Vf Corporation which is the largest apparel company in the world and is known for brands such as Nautica, The North Face, Lee and Wrangler. Honda Aircraft Company world headquarters & its jet factory, Volvo Trucks of North America, Mack Trucks, Qorvo, Market America, The Fresh Market, the insurance division of Lincoln Financial, ITG Brands which is the third largest tobacco company in the U.S. Greensboro has several major corporations based in the city. The city is served by one airport (Piedmont Triad International Airport) and three interstates merge in the city I-40, I-85 & I-73. Greensboro has two large universities (UNC Greensboro & NC A&T State Univ), including Elon University School of Law, three colleges (Greensboro College, Bennett College & Guilford College) and one community college (Guilford Technical Community College) UNCG and NC A&T recently opened a joint research park called Gateway University Research Park which includes a school of nonoscience & technology. The city has recently seen a surge of new upscale restaurants and retail stores such as Wolfgang Puck, Ruth Chris, Cheesecake Factory, Brooks Brothers, ect Some of the city's attractions are Wet n' Wild Emerald Pointe, (12th largest water park in the United States), Grandover Resort, Guilford National Military Park, The Blandwood Mansion and the Greensboro Science Center Zoo & Aquarium. The city boasts the largest arena in North Carolina at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex with 23,500 seats and a 28-story 1,000 room hotel and convention center 2 miles southwest of downtown. The two cities have grown together towards one another and is now one continuous urban area. The next largest city in the county is High Point which has 110, 000 people. Greensboro is located in Guilford County which has a population of 517,000 people. At Greensboro's current growth rate, the city is expected to surpass 300,000 people within six years. Greensboro is the third largest city in North Carolina.
